Our Experiences

Building Communities Since 2006
With nearly two decades of service, Lotus Club Foundation has gained deep and diverse experience in the field of community development—working alongside government institutions, international partners, and grassroots communities.
🔹 Civil Society Engagement
As an active member of the CSO Council of Anuradhapura District for over 4 years, we have developed a strong understanding of the roles and responsibilities of civil society organizations in addressing community needs and advocating for social change.
🔹 International Collaboration
Partnering with the Lions Club International, we’ve jointly carried out multiple projects, gaining valuable insight into global social service practices and cross-border collaboration.
🔹 Government Partnerships
Working closely with the Anuradhapura Municipal Council, we’ve received critical support and resources. These experiences have deepened our understanding of public sector cooperation, its structures, and service delivery mechanisms.
🔹 Private Sector Involvement
With 5 years of membership in the North Central Province Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (NCPCCIA), we’ve gained significant exposure to entrepreneurship development and private sector partnerships, especially through business training for our staff and directors.
🔹 National & International Projects
In 2022, Lotus Club was selected as a partner for the USAID Anti-Human Trafficking & Safe Migration Project (with SAFE Foundation).
Implemented with support from government officers, AGA, and the Ministry of Defence
Recognized for our strong management capacity and aligned vision
🔹 Grassroots Impact
Since 2006, our work has focused on uplifting marginalized communities through:
Informative social mobilization
Women and youth empowerment
Health, education & livelihood initiatives
